Connor Dunham

Girls 16s Head Coach

Connor started playing volleyball in 5th grade. During his Junior year of high school he was the starting 5-1 setter at Oak Ridge High School, which went undefeated in the Sac-Joaquin section. Connor was captain and setter for three clubs in the Sacramento area: PVC, NCVC, and GGVB. He made the Sacramento Optimist Club All-Star Team in 2011.

While attending Folsom Lake College, Connor officiated high school and club matches in the Sacramento area, and played volleyball whenever he could. He transferred to UC Santa Cruz in 2013, and graduated in 2015 with a Computer Science degree.

To round out his sometimes monotonous software development career, he volunteered as an assistant coach for the SLV Middle School 7th grade girls, and then the 6th-8th grade boys in 2018. Connor fell in love with the experience of helping young players learn the game of volleyball, a game he learned so many valuable lessons from. In 2019 he coached the JV girls at SLV High School, and then joined Main Beach to coach 15 Power.
