Kelsee Montagna

Girls 18s Head Coach

Kelsee Montagna is currently the head coach for the Cabrillo Women's team. She recently returned from Great Falls, Montana where she assisted the University of Providence volleyball program as a Graduate Assistant and Recruiting Coordinator. In her short two years there, Montagna proved her ability to recruit and develop top athletes. While development of the whole team was her goal, her main focus was on blocking and working with the middles along with offensive plays. Montagna, as a club director, spearheaded the development of Great Falls Zootown Volleyball Club, branching out from the parent program in Missoula, Montana in the fall of 2017.

As a player, Montagna earned First Team All-Conference honors in the Frontier Conference for her performance as a six-rotation right side. As a two year starter and captain, she led the Argos to a 26-10 record her senior year and earned national team rankings throughout the season. Before her time at UGF, Montagna was team captain of the Cabrillo Seahawks volleyball program in the 2012 and 2013 seasons. In the 2013 season, Montagna was a part of the first Northern California team to win a State Championship and go undefeated in the regular and postseason.

During her time at Cabrillo, Montanga coached the Main Beach Blender's program and assisted the U15 gold program. She also was president of the Cabrillo Beach Volleyball Club before it became in official sport in the CCCAA. Montagna has earned a bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a master's degree in Organizational Management and Leadership with honors. She was named the Most Outstanding Student in both her undergraduate and graduate programs.
