 Travel Teams

Our Travel teams are the club’s elite teams and compete at the highest level of competition. Travel teams compete in the NCVA Power League which consists of 1 two day qualifier, 3 Power League tournaments, and a 2 day regional tournament held in Reno, NV (see tournament schedule for dates).

Players selected for the travel team compete in the Northern California Volleyball Association (NCVA) tournaments and a post-season tournament. The NCVA is the Northern California affiliate of USA Volleyball, the national governing body for amateur volleyball. All tournament matches are played within the rules of USA Volleyball.

The difference between the Travel teams and the Power teams is that the Travel teams will attend a National Qualifier and the the Power teams participate in Power League, but do not participate in any National Qualifiers.

Premier League (Area)

This league was formerly known as area league and is also under the umbrella of the NCVA. This league has a qualifier, 4 league tournaments and a district championship in Sacramento. The league tournaments have limited travel. This team focuses on development and getting players ready to compete on a power or travel team in the future.

All teams begin practice in December.
