We work with our youngest age groups to develop fundamentals in passing, setting, serving, and hitting in a fun and teamwork oriented environment. Whether your child has no experience, or some experience through P.E or other sources, Rising Stars is a great way for your child to engage with volleyball.
Our Rising Stars program is intended for the beginner volleyball player (e.g., 0-1 year of school volleyball, no prior “club” competition) between 3rd and 6th grade. This is an eight week Sunday program with no tryouts or competition dates.
Why Rising Stars?
Rising Stars is designed for 3rd-6th graders to learn the game of volleyball in a safe learning environment.
When are practices?
Practices are 9:00 AM-10:30 AM on Sundays at Cabrillo College. NOTE: First practice is on Saturday August 12, not Sunday, due to gym availability.:
August 12th - October 8th
*There will be no session on Labor Day Weekend (Sunday, September 3rd)*
Fees?
The Rising Stars Program will cost $400.
