Main Beach Volleyball Club is excited to announce our 2025-2026 Tryouts. Tryouts for our 12U-14U teams will be on Saturday, October 11th.
Volleyball Tryout Details
Saturday, October 11th
Location:
Cabrillo College Gymnasium
6500 Soquel Drive
Aptos, CA 95003
Check-in:
Check in begins 45 minutes prior to each scheduled tryout. Please make sure to register online before tryouts.
Tryout Fees:
$30
Saturday, October 11th
12s/13s 9:00am - 10:30am
14s - 11:30am to 1:30pm
Cabrillo College Gymnasium
PRE-TRYOUT CLINIC
Our Pre-Tryout Clinic on October 5th is recommended for anyone trying out for 12s-14s to meet our coaches, ask questions, and prepare for tryouts. These clinics are highly recommended for all athletes trying out.
Sunday October 5th
12s/13s from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM
14s from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
Cabrillo College
Free to athletes 12s-14s that are registered for tryouts.
Financial aid applications are due by September 27, 2025. Apply here.
Age Group Definitions
Please follow the link above and check your player’s correct age definition as defined by USA Volleyball. See below for a brief summary:
18 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/07
17 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/08
16 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/09
15 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/10
14 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/11
13 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/12
12 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/13
11 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/14
Required Forms:
Mandatory Parent Meeting At Tryouts
There will be a mandatory parent meeting at the beginning of each tryout. One parent from each participant must attend, attendance will be noted and absentees will be invited to another meeting before club signing night.

Sunday, October 19th at Cabrillo College
11:00 AM - 14 Power
11:30 AM - 13 Premier
12:00 PM - 14 Premier
12:30 PM - 12 Premier
The event is mandatory for all players and parents if a spot on the team is accepted.
Makeup Tryouts
At this time, there are no scheduled makeup tryouts. If you have schedule conflicts with the aforementioned tryout date, please communicate via email with branden@mainbeachvolleyball.com
