Branden Torado

Branden has been playing volleyball since 2005. Growing up in Sacramento, he played club volleyball for Northern California Volleyball Club (NCVC). At NCVC, he played in three Junior National Championship tournaments. Branden attended Jesuit High School where he was a three year captain, co-league Most Valuable Player (2011), two time All-Delta River League, and Sacramento Optimist All-Star team member.

Branden attended the University of California Santa Cruz (UCSC) and graduated in 2015 with a degree in Environmental Studies. He played for the UCSC men’s volleyball program for four years. While at UCSC, he led three teams to the NCAA D3 National Championship Tournament. Branden was a team captain for two years and received recognition as an Honorable Mention All-American in 2015.

Branden has coached youth volleyball programs in Santa Cruz since 2015. He implements principles and philosophies from Gold Medal Squared and USA Volleyball. Branden is thankful for the knowledge his coaches, teammates, friends, and mentors have shared with him along his journey. He is excited to be a part of the Main Beach family.
