Main Beach Volleyball Club is excited to announce our 2025-2026 Tryouts. Tryouts for our 15U-18U teams will be on Friday, July 25th and Saturday, July 26th.
PRE-TRYOUT CLINICS ADDED:
Sunday July 13th and Sunday July 20th
5:00 PM to 6:30 PM
Cabrillo College
Free to athletes 15s-18s that are registered for tryouts
12U-14U tryout information will be held on Saturday, October 11th and the registration link will be posted on a different Main Beach Volleyball page.
Volleyball Tryout Details
Friday, July 25th (15s-16s) & Saturday, July 26th (17s-18s)

Check-in:
Check in begins 45 minutes prior to each scheduled tryout. Please make sure to register online before tryouts.
Tryout Fees:
$30

16s - 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM
15s - 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM

Saturday, July 26th
17s-18s - 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Age Group Definitions
Please follow the link above and check your player’s correct age definition as defined by USA Volleyball. See below for a brief summary:
18 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/07
17 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/08
16 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/09
15 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/10
14 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/11
13 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/12
12 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/13
11 and under - Players born on or after 7/1/14
Required Forms:
Mandatory Parent Meeting At Tryouts
There will be a mandatory parent meeting at the beginning of each tryout. One parent from each participant must attend, attendance will be noted and absentees will be invited to another meeting before club signing night.
Commitment Signing Night
Please save Wednesday, July 30th for commitment signing night. The event is mandatory for all players and parents if a spot on the team is accepted The schedule for commitment signing night will be announced after tryouts.
Makeup Tryouts
At this time, there are no scheduled makeup tryouts. If you have schedule conflicts with the aforementioned tryout date, please communicate via email with branden@mainbeachvolleyball.com
